Steve Moubray is a shining example of lasting friendships that can be formed through attending Van Ross Golf Tournaments. We met Steve and Sue Moubray at Pezula a couple of years ago, and they’ve since become regulars at our events, including the 2023 Van Ross Wild Coast Couples Tournament, 2024 Van Ross Sun City Invitational Tournament, and most recently, the 2025 Van Ross Fancourt Experience Tournament. A Growing Friendship Our friendship with Steve and Sue has extended beyond the golf course. We’ve enjoyed numerous lunches and dinners together, often with other Van Ross friends like Pete and Nicci Taylor, whom they also met through our tournaments. We’ve also had the pleasure of joining them on numerous occasions for the Ladies Mixed Competitions at their home club, Metropolitan.

Golfing Achievements
Steve and Sue have had an impressive run of golfing successes at our tournaments. Highlights include Steve being crowned King of the Par 4’s at the 2023 Van Ross Wild Coast Couples Tournament and King of the Par 3’s at the 2024 Van Ross Sun City Invitational Tournament. Sue and Steve also won the final round at Lost City with 45 BB Stableford Points. At Fancourt, Steve took Nearest the Pin honors twice, showcasing his skill and consistency.
