About Us
The Van Ross Foundation was founded in 2021 with a passion for golf and a desire to create unique and enjoyable golfing experiences. Our inaugural tournament, the 2021 Van Ross Shootout, took place in the stunning Garden Route, featuring iconic golf courses such as Simola, Goose Valley, Pezula, Oubaai, and Pinnacle Point. The event was a resounding success, and we were thrilled to see many enthusiastic golfers join us for the 2022 Van Ross Shootout, which was followed by a continual demand for regular golf events.
Our Mission
While our primary goal is to provide a platform for golfers to enjoy their favorite sport,
we also recognize the importance of giving back to the community. We've partnered
with charitable organizations to support young golfers and individuals in need, and we're
committed to making a positive impact wherever we can.
Our Events
We've expanded our portfolio of events to include the Van Ross KZN Invitational, Van
Ross Wild Coast Couples, Van Ross Sun City Invitational, and many others. Our events
take place across various provinces in South Africa, offering golfers the opportunity to
play on some of the country's most beautiful courses.

Our Structure
The Van Ross Foundation partners with and supports chosen Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs). While we may not have all the sponsors on board, we’re confident that our events will speak for themselves, and we’re committed to making a difference in the lives of those we touch.

A significant factor in our success is our strong relationships with nearly 50 golf clubs across South Africa, which warmly welcome us back each year.
