Van Ross Fancourt Tournament Recap
The Van Ross Fancourt Tournament took place from April 29 to May 3, 2025, at the prestigious Fancourt Resort, recognized as the #1 Best Golf Club in South Africa in the Leading Golf Choice Awards 2025. The tournament featured rounds on the beautiful Outeniqua and Montagu courses, offering a mix of relaxed and challenging golfing experiences. Despite perfect weather before and after the tournament, the rounds were played in unpleasant rainy conditions. However, the spirit of the golfers remained high, and many enjoyed their first visit to Fancourt or their first Van Ross Tournament.
Tournament Highlights
– Round 1 – BB Stableford format, won by Roland Trollip and Jackie Scott with 39 BB Points C/I.
– Round 2 – Alternate Combined BB Stableford format, won by Ben and Joanne van Rooyen with
56 Alternate Combined BB Stableford Points.
– Round 3 – Alternate Combined BB Stableford format, won by Mike and Tracey Glasby C/I with 51
