Jackie Scott’s golfing journey is a story of passion, dedication, and love. After taking up golf recently, she dove headfirst into the sport, attending her first tournament at the 2024 Van Ross Investment Challenge in the Overberg. She didn’t hesitate to join us again at the 2024 Van Ross Shootout in the Garden Route, and in 2025, she participated in the Van Ross Fancourt Tournament.

A Romance Born on the Course
In a romantic twist, Jackie met Clive Gallienne while preparing for the Fancourt tournament. Despite Clive’s efforts to change partners, Jackie played with her originally allocated partner and ended up as Tournament Runner-Up. Clive, who was participating in his first Van Ross tournament, impressed with his skills, including a Nearest the Pin achievement during Round 3.

Golfing Achievements
Jackie’s golfing successes have been impressive, with highlights including Longest Drive wins at the 2024 Van Ross Investment Challenge and the 2024 Van Ross Shootout. At Fancourt, she secured a podium finish with her BB Runner-Up place in Round 3, contributing to her overall Tournament Runner-Up position. Clive, with a single-figure handicap, ended 2nd for Best Gross with an average score of 79.
